Factory premises back to life
Barrels, fuel tanks and even lightweight helmets for Olympic cyclists used to be manufactured on the site. After a deep slumber, the interior designers from blocher partners, in collaboration with the communication experts from typenraum, have brought the factory premises back to life as a conference and event centre. The striking industrial architecture has been retained. Contrasts through the use of modern design elements characterise a place that leaves an impression.
The new wayfinding system reflects the aesthetics of the surroundings and is characterised by a sophisticated combination of raw industrial-style elements and high-quality materials; smoky, shiny acrylic panels give it a unique look. A clear overview of the floors ensures easy orientation, while the integrated numbering in the wooden panelling of the doors guarantees elegant integration of the guidance system into the architecture.
